Peppermint Snowball Cookies
In my Practical Living class, we were challenged to bake the best winter cookie. It wasn’t the most serious competition; our judges were whichever teacher had a planning period. My group decided to make peppermint snowball cookies, because they are unique and everyone loves peppermint at Christmas time. We found a recipe online and began working.
In the end they weren’t the best cookies. With a little food coloring and powdered sugar they looked great, the problem was the taste. Unfortunately we could only taste the hint of peppermint at first bite, otherwise it tasted like a plain buttered cookie. I personally would not recommend this recipe unless you add more flavoring.
